Welcome to The Cherry Tree

If you love a great London pub, then you’ll love us! Fresh, seasonal, best of British pub food, ample ales – many with a local twist, great wines and enough cocktails for you to welcome in the weekend! We’re only a 2 minute walk from East Dulwich station and only an 15 minute walk from Peckham Rye station.

Looking for the best pub in Dulwich for sports? We’re showing all the Rugby World Cup 2019 matches.  The Cherry Tree will be showing all the Rugby World Cup matches across 5 TV screens including 3 in our shiny new garden. With Sky Sports and BT Sports on all our screens and some brilliant bar snacks we’re the number one spot for the Rugby World Cup 2019.

Plus, did we mention our roasts, they’re a spectacle of beefed up beauty (other meats and veggie dishes are available!), accompanied by GIANT Yorkies that’ll hold an ocean of our delicious gravy!

With one of the largest (and dare we say, most colourful) beer gardens in South East London, we’re an excellent pitstop for a bit of city bound alfresco drinking and dining.

We’re also just minutes away from the newly reinstated home ground of the dynamic Dulwich Hamlets. We’re delighted to welcome the champions back to the hill and are behind the boys for every game.

A local pub as it should be, Tyrone and the team can’t wait to show you around.

Testimonials

The Cherry Tree is a very welcoming pub with excellent staff and a nice atmosphere – it’s more cafe-ish than traditional spit and sawdust but that’s not always a bad thing.  Decent ales and a lovely garden, and they’re always happy to put the rugby on rather than feed customers a constant diet of football.

Rendel

I found it’s a fantastic place for social gatherings in the typical makings of a London pub/restaurant – great place for a quiet drink and easy to get to. Disabled friendly.

Patricia

Nice pub, good selection of beers and wines, food is pretty good. We ate in the bar area, there is a separate area just for dining. Right across the road from East Dulwich station so good access.

Andy

Went today for a family Sunday lunch. Service was friendly and the food portions were generous. The quality of food was good, certainly for the money it was tasty and good value. And there were some good beer on tap too.
